Communiqué de Maître Olivier Pardo et Laurence Dauxin-Nedelec, Cabinet Pardo Sichel & Associés, Avocats des Editions du Moment, à propos du livre de Nathalie Koah « Revenge Porn : foot, sexe, argent : le témoignage de l’ex de Samuel ETO’O ».
La décision de la Cour d’Appel de Paris confirmant l’interdiction de publication de l’ouvrage de Nathalie Koah constitue un recul majeur de la liberté d’expression et de publication.
Cet ouvrage ancré dans l’actualité traitant des conséquences de la pratique du revenge porn, du comportement de certaines stars du football international, du combat pour la dignité de femmes africaines, n’autorise pas la censure, au vu de la jurisprudence, notamment celle de la Cour Européenne des Droits de l’Homme.
Cet arrêt, au-delà du livre de Madame Koah, risque de remettre en cause toute œuvre autobiographique qui par définition relate les relations que l’auteur a pu avoir avec ceux qui ont partagé sa vie.
Nous sommes décidés aux cotés des Editions du Moment d’utiliser toutes les voies de droit pour combattre ce risque de nouvelle censure que l’on voit à l’œuvre, non seulement dans l’édition, mais également dans les œuvres

The following are 6 less known facts about Cameroon international, Samuel Eto’o is one of the most recognizable African footballers of all time. 

1) Samuel Eto'o was born in Nkon, Cameroon and his father is a accountant. 

2) Growing up his nickname was “little Milla”, in reference to Cameroonian international Roger Milla. His connection with Milla dates back to his childhood, when he caught one of Milla’s jerseys that he had thrown into the crowd during a match.

3) Eto'o has two brothers who are also footballers: David and Étienne.

4)  In an interview, Samuel Eto'o revealed that he stayed illegally in France for 9 months, looking for a club. Eto'o's attempts to sign with a French soccer club as a teenager were rejected due to his age and lack of a proper ID.
His first check playing football amounted to 200 euros a week. 

5) On 17 October 2010, in a Serie A game against Cagliari, after just three minutes of play, the referee halted the match to give a warning to some Cagliari fans who were singing racist chants towards Eto'o. After play was resumed, the rest of the stadium chanted loudly in an attempt to drown out the racist chants in order to avoid the match being suspended. Inter went on to win 1–0 with an Eto'o goal in the 39th minute.

Clues to what is happening can be found at Garoua’s finest hotel, the Benoue, where fruit bats fly screeching through the sky at dusk and local security agents are usually sprawled in the lobby. The hotel has 100 rooms, air-conditioning units that pump nothing but warm air, and a backyard garden with coconut palms, a cracked swimming pool, chipped ping pong tables, and a terrace where a breakfast buffet — greasy chicken pieces, black beans, and soggy croissants — is served every morning.

La 18ème édition des jeux de la Fédération nationale des sports scolaires (FENASSCO) se tiendra à Bafoussam du 19 au 27 mars 2016, sous le thème: « Sport scolaire, creuset de la solidarité nationale ». Rendu à un mois du lancement de ladite compétition qui réunit les meilleures athlètes du milieu scolaire, le président du bureau exécutif national, Samuel Rigobert Mandeng, a donné un point de presse vendredi 12 février 2016 avec les présidents des comités régionaux et départementaux, les chefs d’établissements et de services des sports scolaires. A cette occasion, le président confiera que chaque région qui abrite les Jeux devrait gagner en termes d’infrastructures au sortir cette messe sportive. La compétition va accueillir des athlètes du secondaire en compétition dans 9 disciplines en filles et en garçons. La grande révélation sera que Samuel Eto’o Fils, l’ancien capitaine des Lions Indomptables, a été choisi comme parrain de cette édition. «Le goût de l’effort, le dépassement de soi et la constance dans les performances sont critères qui ont milité pour le choix de l’actuel attaquant d’Antalyaspor en Turquie», ajoutera le président.

Après Marc Vivien Foé l’année dernière, Samuel Eto’o sera le modèle des 500 jeunes qui se donneront rendez-vous dans le chef-lieu de la région de l’Ouest. Comme innovation pour cette édition, le comité d’organisation a promis de mener une lutte sans merci contre la tricherie. Ainsi, la commission de morphologie, d’engagement et d’identification des athlètes travaillent d’arrache-pied pour que l’esprit de Fair-play règne au sein de toutes les délégations, lit-on dans les colonnes du journal. «Chaque enfant devra avoir 30 dents. Il y aura une exploitation des fichiers des précédentes éditions. Les vérifications de l’authenticité des documents sont entre autres des mesures qui seront appliquées», a prévenu Samuel Mandeng.

Election à la FIFA : Eto’o soutient Gianni

Le nouveau président de la Fifa sera connu vendredi 26 février 2016 à Zurich. Deux favoris pour succéder à Sepp Blatter : Gianni Infantino et le Cheikh Salman. Si la CAF  s’est prononcée en faveur du Cheikh Salman, Samuel Eto’o a apporté son soutien à Gianni Infantino. L’attaquant camerounais l’a déclaré sur son compte facebook.

« Je souhaite à Gianni de remporter l’élection de la FIFA. Je sais que les intérêts du football lui tiennent à cœur et son expérience, sa détermination et sa passion pour le sport peuvent lui permettre de faire une vraie différence pour le football en Afrique et dans le monde. » a-t-il écrit.
