Cameroon – Politics: Dr. Fomambu Lawrence says NO to SDF! - See more at: http://lcclc.info/2015/10/29/cameroon-politics-dr-fomambu-lawrence-says-no-to-sdf/#sthash.cOGG46aB.dpuf

sdf_press_conf_john_fru_ndi_03_2010_lej_ns_437(K’mer SAGA) – Twelve years after his departure from the National Union for Democracy and Progress, Dr. Fomambu Lawrence, owner of Alpha Royal Clinic and activist for many years in the Social Democratic Front has officially announced his return within the UNDP reports the daily newspaper Le Messager in its edition of Wednesday, October 28th, 2015.
From today on October 25th, 2015, my home is the home of the UNDP in the Northwest region. Your political jet can land and take off anytime, “he told members of the UNDP youth office who came to visit him.
Left from UNDP in 2003 for the AFP and then later the SDF, Dr. Fomambu justifies his resignation from the party of Bello Bouba Maigairi with “the fact that on several occasions the National President of UNDP, the Minister of State Bello Bouba announced, but did not keep his promise to visit the party activists in the North West province. This breach of his word had the impression that I was lying to the militants and they said I am the only one benefiting from any support that the President has granted the party leadership in the region. To save my head, I preferred to leave. I have no problem with the party. ”
According to the newspaper, “he met John Fru Ndi and expressed not only the impending visit of this delegation of young people from UNDP, but also his resignation from the SDF to return to the UNDP’. “The chairman gave me this bottle of Bordeaux to welcome you and wish that you have a good stay in Bamenda,” said the former militant of the SDF.
This return of one of the pioneers of UNDP in the Northwest region has delighted the young officers of the UNDP, according to one member, Elvis Ndansi “there is a saying that is you want to jump well, you need to go back. Dr. Fomambu just did that. ”

Cameroon – Football: The Real Reasons why Finke was “fired”! -

Finke(K’mer SAGA) – While he was expected to sign his second contract as the head of the technical staff of the Indomitable Lions in the coming days, Volker Finke was fired on Friday by the Executive Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT). “We discussed the situation coldly with the technical staff of the national team. After this analysis, we thought that Volker Finke was not the man for the job “, explained Tombi A Roko to the press. See more at: http://lcclc.info/2015/10/31/cameroon-football-the-real-reasons-why-finke-was-fired/#sthash.E7vpgWiz.dpuf

Cameroon VS Nigeria

According to the President of FECAFOOT, the first factor which led the members of his executive board to make this decision lies in the fact that Volker Finke had long been hated by many Cameroonians. “There is a popular rejection,” thinks Tombi A Roko . But the sacked coach also pays the price for his tactical choices often contested, and especially his last result with the national team. In the friendly match of October 11th, 2015, against Nigeria, Cameroonians were humiliated, 0 against 3. “His game had become formulaic, uninspired he puts his players in the field, without a strategy to lead us to victory, “added the boss of FECAFOOT.

Lack of Respect

And as if that was not enough, the German technician had to “mock” at  the Cameroonian authority. After this defeat to Nigeria, several sources report that the President of FECAFOOT issued a “request for clarification” from Volker Finke who did not respond to this request. “He received a request for an explanation, and he did not respond within the time given to him to do so. It’s a lack of respect not only to the President of FECAFOOT, Cameroonians, but also our country, “concluded one of our informants.
We thought that we need to restore confidence to the team that has so many talented players, Tombi A Roko further highlights. That is why we felt it is good to separate from Volker Finke. “The German tactician arrived at the head of the selection in late May 2013 for a term of two years. He was replaced by his two Cameroonian assistants Alexandre Belinga and Bonaventure Djonkep who will ensure the interim.

25-year-old student stripped naked for sleeping with married man

There was drama in Chitungwiza on Monday morning when a married man was caught with a lover after taking advantage of his wife’s one night absence.
Leonard Gandari’s wife had gone to Banket where she was attending a funeral and Leonard deemed that as a golden opportunity to ‘import’ a ‘prostitute’ into their matrimonial house in Zengeza 4, Harare, in the presence of his wife’s siblings.
The lover was identified as Memory Mupindu (25) and she was stripped by angry neighbours after the couple overslept and Leonard was late to ‘deport’ his catch before co-tenants and his wife’s siblings had woken up.
Memory refused to be labeled a prostitute arguing that she had been made to believe that Leonard was single hence she slept comfortably up to the time when neighbours were sweeping their yards.
“I’m not a prostitute but we were in love. We met two weeks ago and he told me that he was not married and he stays with his sisters. We came together yesterday night without any idea that things will generate into such chaos. I am in form four at herentals college in Chitungwiza,” said the woman as tears rolled down her cheeks.
Leonard could not give his side of the story as he fled. Neighbours saw Memory trying to scale over the pre-cast wall in a bid to escape after realising that she had overslept. She was however, unlucky and was thoroughly beaten up and stripped.
“It is the wife’s young sister who smelt a rat and woke up and Memory sensed danger and tried to escape but in vain,” narrated one of the neighbours.
Angry residents went on to call Leonard’s wife identified as Mirriam Chinduta who arrived at the scene and found the scene still ‘fresh’. The wife broke into the house to find the alleged prostitute on her sofas.
Residents were bitter that Leonard abuses his wife by regularly assaulting her which he confirmed by again assaulting her after she confronted him over the issue. Mirriam reportedly sought refuge at a nearby house in fear of being attacked.
The seemingly too violent Leonard tried to attack the news crew but shied away from the lenses.
Fearing the mob, largely made up of the fairer sex, Leonard locked himself in the house, leaving his mistress to face the music. A close source said Leonard sneaked the O-Level student into the house around 9pm and at around 11pm, his wife’s sister and children heard voices in the bedroom.
“We were seated in the house and at around 11pm we heard voices and sent in his young child who told us that there was a lady on his bed.
We went in but we couldn’t find her because she was hiding. We woke up at around 4am and sat in the dining room and he (Leonard) was just milling around and he could not go to work, which made us suspicious and we guarded the gate.
Later we heard our neighbour screaming that there was someone on the wall and we saw her and caught her,” revealed the mole.

33-year-old woman tries to suffocate her boyfriend to death with her breasts

A buxom woman has been accused of trying to kill her lawyer boyfriend… with her 38DD breasts.
Franziska, 33 from Germany, who weighs nine stone is accused of ‘attempted manslaughter with a weapon’ after her 13-stone boyfriend claimed she tried to smother him with her breasts and pretend it was a sex game.
She denies the claim saying it was a sex game and he knew what it was all about.
Tim Schmidt told the German court that although they had had a difficult relationship, until then everything in the bedroom had been normal.
‘The incident happened in May – we were having sex,’ he said. ‘She was sitting on me naked and I was kissing her breasts. Suddenly she grabbed my head and pushed between her breasts with all of her force.
‘I couldn’t breathe any more, I must have turned blue. I couldn’t tear myself free and I thought I was going to die.’
He said that with his last reserves of strength he had managed to extricate himself from the woman’s vice-like grip and fled naked to a neighbour and demanded he called the police.
Mr Schmidt said when they met four years ago, the couple had been completely in love.
He said: ‘Everything was great between us – and I would have done everything for her. But it started to go wrong when I got my first job as a lawyer and we moved to Unna.
‘She could not hold down a job and just had one part-time job after the other. And the better my career went – the worst it seemed to be for her.’
He said Franziska tried to kill him after learning he was planning to leave her.
‘It is clear she wanted to kill me,’ he said. ‘She even admitted it to me on the telephone. I asked her why she wanted to smother me to death with her breasts and she told me: “Treasure – I wanted your death to be as pleasurable as possible.”

Samuel Eto’o seeks global funding for Boko Haram victims

Samuel Eto’oFour time African Footballer of the Year and twice African Nations Cup winner, Samuel Eto’o has advocated for funding to help people displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria and Cameroon.
While warning that the world is neglecting an escalating humanitarian crisis in West Africa, Cameroon’s record goal scorer fears the conflict and ensuing displacement are being ignored as global attention remains fixed upon Europe’s burgeoning migration crisis.
Speaking with Thomson Reuters Foundation after hosting a fundraising ball in London for the Yellow Whistle Blower FC initiative, Eto’o explained that, “There are different classes of crisis now and no one seems to notice the displaced in Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Nigeria.”
“When you see the population in refugee camps growing from 6,000 to 50,000 people in less than a year, you realise how serious the situation is,” Africa’s most decorated footballer added.
The Boko Haram sect’s bid to carve out an Islamist state in northeast Nigeria has killed thousands, uprooted 2.2 million people within the country and driven around 160,000 Nigerians to seek refuge in Cameroon, Chad and Niger.

Cross-border raids and suicide bombings by suspected Boko Haram forces have displaced more than 80,000 people over the last year in Cameroon’s far North region, which is also home to 60,000 Nigerian refugees who have fled attacks by the militants since the start of 2013.

ISMAILIA, Egypt/CAIRO (Reuters) - A Russian airliner carrying 224 passengers and crew crashed in Egypt's Sinai peninsula on Saturday after losing radar contact and plummeting from its cruising altitude, killing all aboard.
The Airbus A321, operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia under the brand name Metrojet, was flying from the Sinai Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh to St Petersburg in Russia when it went down in a desolate mountainous area of central Sinai soon after daybreak, the aviation ministry said.
A north Sinai security source said initial examination showed the crash was due to a technical fault, but gave no detail. The plane, he said, had landed in a "vertical fashion", explaining the scale of devastation and burning.
The Russian Embassy in Cairo said it had been told by Egyptian officials the pilot had been trying to make an emergency landing at El-Arish.
"I now see a tragic scene," an Egyptian security officer at the site told Reuters by telephone. "A lot of dead on the ground and many who died whilst strapped to their seats.
"The plane split into two, a small part on the tail end that burned and a larger part that crashed into a rock. We have extracted at least 100 bodies and the rest are still inside," the officer, who requested anonymity, said.
Sinai is the scene of an insurgency by militants close to Islamic State, who have killed hundreds of Egyptian soldiers and police and have also attacked Western targets in recent months.
Russia, an ally of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, launched air raids against opposition groups in Syria including Islamic State on Sept. 30. Security sources said there was no indication the Airbus had been shot down or blown up.
TELEPHONES RINGING
Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail was heading to the crash site in the Hassana area 35 km (22 miles) south of the Sinai Mediterranean coastal city of Al Arish with several cabinet ministers on a private jet, the tourism ministry said.
Russian television showed film of anxious relatives and friends waiting for information at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport. A middle-aged woman was shown weeping and crying out.
Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a day of national mourning for Sunday. The passengers included 214 Russians and three Ukrainians.
Speaking at a news briefing in the central Asia republic of Kyrgyzstan, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry described the crash as a tremendous tragedy and loss.
The A321 is a medium-haul jet in service since 1994, with over 1,100 in operation worldwide and a good safety record. It is a highly automated aircraft relying on computers to help pilots stay within safe flying limits.
Airbus said the A321 was built in 1997 and had been operated by Metrojet since 2012. It had flown 56,000 hours in nearly 21,000 flights and was powered by engines from International Aero Engines consortium, which includes United Technologies unit Pratt & Whitney and Germany's MTU Aero Engines .
Emergency services and aviation specialists searched the wreckage for any clues to the crash. One of two flight recorders was quickly found, but wreckage was scattered over a wide area.
The security officer said 120 bodies had been found intact.
“We are hearing a lot of telephones ringing, most likely belonging to the victims, and security forces are collecting them and putting them into a bag,” he said.
Russian state-run television station Rossiya 24 reported that officials were searching the Kogalymavia airline's offices in Moscow and had seized some documents.
Interfax news agency said Russian state transport regulator Rostransnadzor had found violations when it last conducted a routine flight safety inspection of Kogalymavia. But after the inspection, in March 2014, the airline remedied the breaches.
Kogalymavia was founded in 1993, and was earlier called Kolavia. Its fleet consists of two A320s and seven A321s.
Russia and other former Soviet republics have relatively poor safety records, notably on domestic flights.
Some Russian air crashes have been blamed on the use of ageing aircraft, but industry experts point to other problems, including poor crew training, crumbling airports, lax government controls and neglect of safety in the pursuit of profits.
The aircraft took off at 5:51 a.m. Cairo time (0351 GMT) and disappeared from radar screens 23 minutes later, Egypt's Civil Aviation Ministry said in a statement. It was at an altitude of 31,000 feet (9,400 meters) when it vanished from radar screens.
Accidents at cruising altitude are one of the rarest categories of accidents but also among the most deadly, accounting for 13 percent of fatal incidents but 27 percent of fatalities since 2005, according to Boeing.
Investigators would be looking into, among other things, the weather at the time, the pilots' experience, maintenance records, signs of a stall and any evidence of an explosion.
Experts consistently warn air accidents are usually caused by a cocktail of factors, both human and technical.
According to FlightRadar24, an authoritative Sweden-based flight tracking service, the aircraft was descending rapidly at about 6,000 feet (1,800 meters) per minute before the signal was lost to air traffic control.
